Lyric Video Studio now supports Linux as well! All local generative AI tools that you find in windows version are supported in Linux as well! Tested in Ubuntu 26.04 LTS, please let us know if there’s issues!
Installation
(note: other places to obtain it will soon be made available)
sudo chmod +x ./lvsInstaller OR change it to executable from UI
If you have NVIDIA cuda GPU: sudo apt install libcudart12 libcublas12 libcurand10 libcufft11 nvidia-cudnn
License
To activate full version, buy LVs from itch.io Download key (and the url) act as license key. You can activate the same key three times, so you can also install windows version, if you like.
ComfyUi

Generate locally
In integrated local generation plugin, only Vulkan is currently supported. All the presets are currently optimized for CUDA, so you may need to adjust the settings. Video models are mostly untested, because my 16gb vram card runs out of memory. Using ComfyUi instead is highly recommended!
Steam
If you get “Compatibility tool failed”, right click on game -> properties -> compatibility and check and uncheck the “Force to use…”. For some reason it fixes the issue
If you see no render preview view (or see error text where rendering view should be): make sure you have selected Vulkan rendering mode in Audio and Visual settings. Ubuntu store / snap installation of Steam causes this issue
